Terms and Conditions for the OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. Instagram Competition

1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operating via the Instagram account @osmohair.

2. Promotion Period
The competition will begin immediately upon its announcement on @osmohair’s Instagram account and will end when the account reaches 25,000 followers.

3. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd., their families, or anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
  • Participants must have a public Instagram account to enter.
  • Entries submitted using scripts, macros, bots, or other automated methods are void and will be disqualified.

4. How to Enter
To participate in the competition, entrants must:

  1. Follow @osmohair on Instagram.
  2. Like the competition post.
  3. Tag a friend in the comments of the competition post (each tag counts as one entry).
  4. Share the competition post to their Instagram Story and tag @osmohair for a bonus entry.

5. Prize Details

  • The winner will receive the following:
  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  • The prize will be issued as digital gift vouchers in the name of the winner only. These will need to be sent to a valid UK email address to be claimed.
  • OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or higher value if necessary.

6. Additional Costs and Responsibilities

  • The Tui holiday vouchers are subject to Tui’s terms and conditions, including their expiration policies and redemption requirements.
  • The winner is solely responsible for all additional costs associated with redeeming the vouchers, including but not limited to:
    • Travel insurance, if required.
    • Any additional travel costs exceeding the value of the vouchers.
    • Accommodation or upgrades not covered by the vouchers.
    • Meals, drinks, or activities not included in the holiday package.
    • Any other personal expenses incurred during the holiday.
  • OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. will not be responsible for any costs, charges, or liabilities arising from the winner’s use or inability to use the vouchers.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

  • One winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date.
  • The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within 7 days of reaching 25,000 followers.
  • If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the prize may be forfeited, and a new winner may be selected.

8. Participation Rules

By entering, participants confirm the following:

  • Compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • Permission for OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. to announce their Instagram handle in promotional posts and stories.
  • Agreement to participate in reasonable promotional activities, such as providing testimonials or sharing photos.

9. Intellectual Property and Rights

By entering, participants grant OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use their submitted entries, including any associated captions, for promotional purposes in any media. Participants agree that their entry will not infringe any third-party rights.

10. Data Protection

  • Personal data collected during the competition will be used solely for administering the competition, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Entrants acknowledge that their Instagram handle and other publicly available information may be used to announce the winner.

11. Liability

OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete entries.
  • Technical issues, such as Instagram outages or connectivity problems.
  • Costs incurred by the winner outside the prize details, unless explicitly stated.

12. Instagram and Third-Party Disclaimer

This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Tui, or any other third party mentioned in relation to the prizes.

13. Right to Amend or Cancel

  • OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including technical issues or fraud.
  • Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated promptly.

14. Governing Law

This competition is governed by the laws of Scotland. However, participants from England, Wales, and Northern Ireland may bring disputes in their local courts, as permitted by applicable law.

15. Additional Provisions for Prize Redemption

  • The winner must use the Tui holiday vouchers within the time frame specified by Tui’s terms and conditions.
  • If the winner declines the prize or fails to meet the redemption requirements, OSMO Hair/Professional Beauty Systems Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner.

By participating, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

The Prize Draw will begin at 12:00 hrs on 19th May 2025 and close when the @osmohair Instagram account reaches 25000 followers  (the "Prize Draw Period").

This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta. Meta is completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Prize Draw.

We will require the location of your home address (city or county) because we are obliged to make the winner's name and location (city or county) available to people requesting that information in accordance with the Prize Draw T&Cs and to comply with the requirements under the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the "CAP Code"). As provided in the CAP Code, the winner can object to us publishing or making available the name or reduce the amount of information published or made available. In order to contact us on this, please email us sales@osmohair.co.uk. Please note that this does not affect our obligation to provide the relevant information and the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority, the UK's regulator of advertising, if required to do so.
